There are many ways that you could help us keep this site, and our travels going. Here are just a few examples.

  • Send Money – a small fact of life is that it takes money for us to keep traveling.  All funds you send to us will be used by us to extend our travels, write more articles, and volunteer with more organizations around the world. Money also makes great presents for birthdays and anniversaries…
  • Tips & Advice – have you done some traveling yourself? Know of some must see places?  Know of some great volunteer opportunities? Have you heard of some great places to stay?  We’d love to hear about anything that would add to our trip.
  • Advertise With Us – We will sell prominently placed text and banner adds on our website.  Please see our Advertise page for more details.
  • Invite Us to Write a Review – have a new backpack, a netbook, or a camera that you want reviewed?  We’d gladly take it off your hands and perform an in depth field review. Do you operate a hostel, tour guide, non-profit organization, etc?  We’d love to check out your services and write a review in exchange for a discounted fair, food, accommodations, or a job.
  • Give Us a Place to Sleep – If we don’t scare you too much, and you happen to live someplace we’d like to go, it would be great to meet you, and keep your floor/couch warm.

If you don’t feel comfortable giving us anything please consider donating to one of the organizations that we have been involved with, or intend to be involved with during our travels.

  • Cooperativa Spanish School – is a Spanish language school in San Pedro La Laguna on Lake Atitlan, Guatemala.  They support 22 families in and around San Pedro by providing fresh food, and have an ambitious house building project.
  • Quetzaltrekkers – a non profit, volunteer-run trekking organization that operates in Quetzaltenango, Guatemala and Leon, Nicaragua.  100% off all proceeds are used to support local schools for low income families.
  • Sacred Sueños – is an organic farming community located a two hour hike up a mountain from Vilcabamba, in Loja Ecuador.

If you do feel comfortable giving us money please fill out the form below, and thank you.
